Family immigration: marriage-based green cards, removing conditions and consular processing

Languages: English, Polish

Biography

Marta Kowalczyk is an associate on the firm’s family team. She prepares family petitions, green card applications and the petitions that follow them.

A large part of her practice is marriage-based cases: the first petition, the interview, and the joint petition to remove conditions filed in the 90 days before the second anniversary of conditional residence. She also handles waivers of the joint filing when a marriage has ended.

For relatives abroad, she manages the case through the National Visa Center and prepares the family for the consular interview.

She joined the firm in 2020. She grew up in Greenpoint and consults in English and Polish.
